The Moon (Ang Buwan)

“I said to my soul, be still, and wait… so the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.” (T.S. Eliot).  Commemorating sacred ceremonies, night travel, and planting cycles. Though it doesn’t disclose everything at once, it is a light in the dark. The Moon serves as a reminder that although truth is not always evident, it is always there, much like how the rice terraces sparkle differently in moonlight than during the day. A period of introspection rather than action. There is something buried in your life, but you are supposed to feel it rather than see it yet. A reminder that the road involves uncertainty. Instead of walking by sight, you are being challenged to walk by faith.
