Liway Olosan

A Filipino multidisciplinary artist located in BC, Canada. She was born and raised in the rich culture and traditions of the Igorot people of Cordillera, Philippines. After immigrating to Canada by 2018, she reignited her creativity, inspired by the creative art scenes and diverse cultural expressions across the country. She explores acrylic painting, coloured pencils, oil pastels and collage, frequently integrating traditional Igorot motifs in her work. She uses her art to bridge the gap between where her people came from and where they are now.
