Guardian of the Village (Tagapangalaga ng ili)

An elder, a guardian, and a storehouse of ancestry. His strength is not in dominance or victory, but in being grounded, still and present. He shows us that composure is a sign of true leadership. It is firmly established, steadfast, and beneficial to everyone. He stands for authority, leadership, protection, and structure. He is the counterpart of the Goddess of Creation; he creates what she envisions, sets rules, and provides safety for those entrusted to his care. 

The time has come for you to assume grounded authority. Speak with purpose and don’t be afraid of your voice. Honour the people who came before you and lead from the heart.
